The terms and conditions apply to all memberships

The following membership conditions (hereinafter Membership Conditions) apply to membership at Joes Boxing Gym ApS, CVR no. 39824833 (hereinafter JBG).

An overview of current memberships and prices can be found at any time on the website here: joesboxinggym.com/prices
A membership with JBG is personal and cannot be used by anyone other than the member.
Receipt for enrolment and any subscription agreement will be sent by email.

When creating a Monthly Subscription with payment via Betalingsservice (BS), the agreement is enrolled for automatic payment and payment is made in advance for the period until the agreement for automatic payment is created. The first subscription period and any set-up fee are paid upon enrolment. Thereafter, the service is automatically charged on the first of each month. Each payment is subject to the applicable administration fee.

A Monthly Subscription continues until it is cancelled and the notice period has expired.

When creating a cash membership, including vouchers, the membership and any set-up fee for the entire agreement period are paid in one instalment.

It is not possible to get a partial or full refund on prepaid memberships. Exceptions to this are vouchers where remaining vouchers can be converted to a Monthly Subscription.

If a person is under 18 years of age or a minor, membership can only be established with the written consent of the member's legal guardian. Members who are minors can only be enrolled in person. In the event of non-payment or debt to JBG, the current guardian is liable for the full amount.

It is possible to suspend (pause) your membership once a year. This must be notified to JBG via our website joesboxinggym.com/membership-in-bero, stating the period for which the subscription is to be suspended. A fee will be charged according to the current prices - see joesboxinggym.com/membership-in-bero.

Membership can be suspended between 1 and 6 months and will automatically restart at the end of the suspension period.

Payment can be made automatically via Betalingsservice or MobilePay to number 54059.

With a monthly subscription, your payment is automatically enrolled to Betalingsservice. A fee to Nets will be added to the subscription price, according to our current price list. If you choose to pay via Betalingsservice, you are committed for 2 months, after which cancellation rules apply.

The period from the creation of the Monthly Subscription until the direct debit agreement comes into effect is paid in cash upon enrolment.

If you do not unsubscribe, your membership will continue automatically.

Cancellation of monthly subscription must be notified to JBG via our website joesboxinggym.com/cancellation, including name, email and membership number.

The cancellation terms are current month + 30 days, i.e. the current month plus the following month.

Deletion or rejection of the direct debit agreement at the member's bank is not considered a valid cancellation and the subscription will continue. The member will instead receive a giro card by post.

In the event of a disagreement regarding cancellation, it is the member's responsibility to provide documentation.

Cash memberships do not need to be cancelled, but automatically expire at the end of the paid period.

Vouchers expire when the vouchers are used up or three years after purchase.

When creating the membership, the Member must provide their name, address, e-mail and Danish telephone number.
When creating a Monthly Subscription, you must also provide your CPR number and bank details (registration number and account number).
If contact or bank details are subsequently changed, JBG must be notified immediately. It is the member's responsibility to ensure that JBG has the member's correct contact information at all times.

The member's personal data is stored in a database to which only JBG employees have access. Only the management of JBG has access to view and change members' CPR numbers in the database.

JBG uses the member's contact information to send messages, including digital messages by e-mail and SMS, regarding the membership and any non-payment thereof.

All first-time trainees must consult an instructor before starting training. The rules of behaviour and instructions given by JBG staff must always be followed.

You can work out in whatever clothes feel comfortable for you. This could be a t-shirt and a pair of shorts or tights. For safety reasons, loose scarves, etc. are not allowed. You must wear clean shoes that are intended for indoor training and have not been used outdoors.

JBG is a smoke and vapour free area.

Applicable guidelines for cleaning and good hygiene must be followed.

JBG bears no responsibility for losses due to theft or property damage.

All training is at your own risk. The member is responsible for being in a state of health that allows participation in activities at JBG.

JBG recommends that you consult your own doctor if you are in doubt before starting training. JBG does not take responsibility for personal injury to a member as a result of accidents or other visitors' actions or inadequate actions.

JBG may at any time - and with immediate effect - terminate any membership agreement if applicable rules or instructions from JBG staff are not complied with. In that case, all unutilised prepayments will be refunded.

JBG reserves the right to make changes to class scheduling and opening hours without prior notice.

Price changes will be communicated by email and can take effect at the earliest after a period corresponding to the notice period of the current subscription. Price changes due to changed legal requirements are exempt from this deadline.

When purchasing a subscription via the website, the member has a 14-day right of cancellation from the day the purchase is made. However, the right of cancellation lapses the moment the member starts using the subscription.

When joining in person at the club, any right of cancellation is generally void.
